1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and making a purchase at https://www.artetikuna.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, you may not use our services.

2. General Information

Arte Tikuna is an e-commerce platform dedicated to the sale of authentic handicrafts from the Tikuna people and other Amazonian communities. Each piece is unique and handcrafted.

3. Purchasing Process

  • Availability: Given the handcrafted nature of our products, inventories are limited. We reserve the right to cancel any order if stock is out of stock.
  • Prices: All prices are shown in American Dollars – USD and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time.
  • Order Validation: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons such as errors in the product description, incorrect pricing, or suspected fraud.

4. Intellectual Property

All images, text, logos, and designs appearing on the website are the property of Arte Tikuna or the artisans represented, and are protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction without express authorization is prohibited.

5. Limitation of Liability

Arte Tikuna will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the products purchased.

Shipping Policy – Arte Tikuna

1. Coverage Areas

We ship nationwide, to Latin American countries, and to other European countries. For international shipping, please contact us in advance for a quote for costs and times.

2. Processing and Shipping Times

  • Processing: Orders will be prepared and shipped within 3 to 5 business days from payment confirmation. This time is necessary because each piece is carefully inspected and packaged.
  • Shipping: Once shipped, estimated transit times are:
  • Capital and major cities: 2 to 5 business days.
  • Other cities/inland: 5 to 10 business days.
  • International Shipping: 15 to 20 business days (subject to customs).

Important Note: Shipping times are estimated and provided by the shipping company. Arte Tikuna is not responsible for delays caused by the courier company, weather conditions, natural disasters, or customs procedures.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are automatically calculated in the shopping cart based on the weight, dimensions of the package, and the destination address, up to 1 kilo. For orders over 1 kilo, you can write to us for a calculation.

4. Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email so you can monitor its location in real time.

Returns and Refund Policy – Arte Tikuna

Products Not Accepted for Return

Due to the unique and handcrafted nature of our products, returns are NOT accepted in the following cases:

  • Items that have been personalized at the customer’s request.
  • If the customer simply changed their mind and the product is not defective.

Return Procedure
Contact us: Send an email to contacto@artetikuna.com within the established timeframe, indicating your order number and the reason for the return.

    Instructions: We will send you the instructions and address for the return.

    Inspection: Once the product is received at our warehouse, we will inspect it to verify that it meets the conditions.

    Refund: If the return is approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days to the original form of payment. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

    Defective or Faulty Products
    If you receive a defective product (e.g., a basket with a torn weave) or a different product than the one you ordered, we promise to resolve it immediately. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, and we will send you a replacement product or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
